年3月23日，香港。RICS与香港测量师学会（HKIS）宣布两会的估价专业人士会员资质互认。此会员资质互认为专业测量师资质的认证提供了简化的申请手续，让具备香港本地知识的测量师专业人士能在全球市场发挥价值并积累经验，为其丰富履历并提升国际专业地位。HKIS产业测量组会员与RICS在香港地区经由估价专业途径获取专业认证的会员将同时获得两会的认可。(HongKong,23March)–RICSandHKIS(TheHongKongInstituteofSurveyors)haveannouncedamutualrecognitionofmembershipforvaluationprofessionalsofthetwoorganisations.Themutualrecognitionoffersastreamlinedapplicationprocessforprofessionalsurveyormembershipqualifications,whichwillallowsurveyingprofessionalstopractisegloballyinmarketswheretheyhavelocalknowledge,andultimatelybenefittheirportfolioandraisetheirmembershipstandingworldwide.MembersoftheGeneralPracticeDivisionofHKISandprofessionalmembersofRICScharteredthroughavaluationpathway(CharteredValuationSurveyors)willberecognisedbybothorganisations.在土地、房地产、建筑和基建领域，RICS鼓励及倡导使用全球最高的专业资格和标准，RICS的《全球估价标准》（RICS红皮书）在世界各地被广泛采用。RICS将通过此次资质互认的落实，为采用国际评估标准提供服务的香港地区专业人士提供质量及信心的保证。RICSencouragesandpromotesthehighestglobalprofessionalqualificationsandstandardsinthedevelopmentandmanagementofland,realestate,constructionandinfrastructure.RICSvaluationstandards(alsoknownas“RedBook”)havebeenwidelyadoptedaroundtheworld.Withthismutualrecognitionarrangementinplace,RICSwillprovideenhancedqualityassuranceandcredibilityinaglobalmarketplacetoHongKongprofessionalsworkingtointernationalvaluationstandards.

随着中国“一带一路”倡议及“粤港澳大湾区”战略的开展，超大型基建及建设项目陆续出现，具备国际资质的建筑及测量专业是确保这些项目成功的关键。此次资质互认是RICS与HKIS为双方会员扩展视野和发展的策略之举。
